I am so sorry for your loss. I have wanted to say it to you for so long.
I was always concerned for the well-being of the nurses and only wish I had tried harder to stop it airing.
This tragedy is going to stay with me as a constant reminder.
To the second nurse involved I am also very sorry about what you had to endure. I sincerely apologise and wish you all the best for the future.
The mother-of-two, 46, was found hanged three days after she transferred the Australian hoaxers to a colleague while Kate was being treated for acute morning sickness during her first pregnancy.
The coroner today recorded a verdict of suicide and said she was clearly an ‘extraordinary’ nurse but the hoax call was “on her mind.”
