Armed robbers sends a warning letter to streets in Palmgroove, saying “Beware of the coming!
The letter pictured above, was sent to Residents of five different streets in Palmgroove, Lagos, on Saturday September 6th, 2014. by a group of unknown armed robbers, which has thrown the residents of the included streets into fear, after receiving the letter from the group who said their coming will be like the second coming of Jesus. (copy of the purported letter above). The letter reads in part:
“Beware of the coming! Be on the look out in this area. Property owners are coming anytime from now. The gate men you have are not our problem. Our problem is how many resources do you have for us? August visitor must visit whether you like it or not. So expect August visitor when you did not expect. Surely August visitor shall visit just like the second coming of Jesus. It is turn by turn.”
The names of the streets listed by the armed robbers for their attack:
Oseni street, Nkanna street, Odogbolu street, Ibiwoye Oba and Bode Thomas street.
On receiving the letter, some of the residents in the area immediately contacted police, who has sent some of their men to the streets for a 24/7 security watch. The residents say they are so scared.
