Enyimba and Kano Pillars to fight over Idris Aloma
Idris Aloma, who is 20 now and plays for El-Kanemi Warriors football club, has won the heart of top Nigerian Pro League side Eyimba FC Aba. He has been awesome this season at the defense for El-Kanemi-Warriors and he has even scored three goals for his team. Supersport.com has been informed by an Enyimba official that the Aba-based club would try all their best to lure in Aloma to their side at the end of the season.
“We wanted him to join us before the start of the second round, though he refused, but we are sure that he would play for us next season because he is one of the best defenders in Nigeria,” the official told supersport.com.
Kano Pillars’ supremo, Ibrahim Haruna also revealed to supersport.com that Kano fans have been clamoring for the management of the team to bring Aloma to the current NPFL champions.
“Aloma is from Kano, and a lot of our fans have been giving us headache that they want him to play for Kano Pillars, but we shall see how thing would work out.
“Personally, I have watched him play three times, and I was impressed with what I saw,” Haruna said.
Supersport.com then took the time to speak to the player involved on which side he would be interested to join next term.
“At present, I am happy at El-Kanemi Warriors and everybody loves me here, and that was the reason I turned down the offers brought in by Enyimba and Kano Pillars.
“I want to help El-Kanemi Warriors get a continental ticket at the end of the season, and it is after that I would decide on my future,” Idris Aloma told supersport.com
Aloma, started his football career at defunct Babanawa FC in 2006 as a secondary school apprentice before joining NNL side, ABS FC in 2011.
He moved to El-Kanemi-Warriors at the start of this season in Nigeria’s top flight.
