Ebola: 8 more persons infected in Lagos, State Health Commissioner Confirms

The Lagos state Commissioner for Health, Dr Jide Idris, yesterday August 6th 2014, said there are now eight more people suspected with the cases of Ebola in Lagos. These eight are those who came in contact with Liberian Patrick Sawyer, who died of Ebola shortly after arriving Lagos last month. But out of the 8, only one case has been confirmed while six others have been quarantined even though they have not shown any symptoms of the disease so far, He added.

Most Lagosians now live in fear of this killer disease, even though it does not stop people from associating with one another but, extra care should be taken; especially by the medical practitioners who are in charge of this treatment as there has not being any form of cure for the Ebola Virus.
